Project name:
Spalneo

Client company:
Spalneo (Slovakia)

Status:
Web-based app released in January 2019, iOS and Android apps released in March 2019, ongoing support

Industry:
Beauty & healthcare

Project size:
Large

Project core information:
An online platform focusing on both a business and a customer, Spalneo offers a range of utilities through web, Android and iOS platforms. Responsible for the mobile applications, we've developed 4 distinctive apps delivering the desired functionality to both groups of users on both platforms.

Whereas the business version provides the features aimed at addressing the organizational issues, the customer version is all about convenience and handiness of wellness services. The former include a smart calendar syncing with the Spanleo's own centralized database, graphs, statistics, and more. The customer-oriented version offers its own fully featured search engine as a way to intuitively navigate through the variety of service providers, along with payments processing, sensitive data protection, etc.

Technologies applied:
MVVM architecture, MVP architecture, RealmSwift DB, Google maps, Wirecard for card tokenization, Dagger2, RxAndroid, Retrofit2, Moxy, Cicerone, ThreeTenBp.

Top challenges:
Since apps had to be capable of digital payments, the integration with Wirecard services was a demand. That proved a time-consuming process. Other challenges included dealing with the backend engineered and set up by Spalneo's own developers, as well as the creation of custom design patterns for both iOS and Android platforms.
